Christmas, Christmas You Are No More

Christmas came and went so fast! It's funny how you wait months and prepare for weeks to celebrate a holiday that only last 24 hours. It's a wonderful 24 hours of course, but when all the presents are open, and the chocolate is half eaten, what have you got?? Winter. Personally, I wouldn't mind if Christmas took winter with it on December 26th, but I've got to admit it is quite a pretty season.

I Heart the Holidays

Somehow, Christmas sprang up on me this year and I started everything a bit later than I would usually. So, instead of wasting time doing nothing with my annual Christmas Eve insomnia, I decided to put up the lights in my room that should have been up a week ago. And, as you can see, it turned into a playful "photoshoot."

I've always loved Christmas lights photography so I thought I'd take a crack at it. And, it was my first time experimenting with multicolor bokeh. I've still got a lot to learn, but it's a process.

Needless to say, I had fun. And, I wish everybody the best this season. =D

The Last Days of Dress Code

So, after my last post I realized that I let two whole months fly by without one solid fall weather post..and fall is the best season for fashion! September's Highs, October Skies

Senior year at a college prep school is no joke. I feel like I've already started my first year of college all while trying to actually get accepted. That said, I definitely have not had the time to take many pictures recreationally. So, I'm posting a quick catch-up of a few things I've been enjoying the past 2 months. What's Black, White && Red All Over???

So, Friday was my last day with my boyfriend before he went back to school. We decided to hang out downtown at our leisure, no surprise. And, yes, we decided to be the annoying couple that matches :) These pictures are, in part, recreational, but also sort of memoirs. I think we got a lot of good shots, and quite a few were his idea. Turns out, he's not so bad as a model either. haha. This day was just a pleasant surprise all around. ♥
