The Our Father

So, it's Father's Day. It's also Sunday which means I'm a groggy mess in the morning, and I have to create a presentable look for church like I have some sense within one hour. I woke up with absolutely no plan; my mom actually suggested this outfit (not to bad). It's funny how I look better when I don't try than when I do.

I absolutely love this necklace. It's actually supposed to be two small necklaces, but I made them into one large one: my favorite DIY to date. Also, this nail polish is a current fav, current as in "until it wears off." It's so different, it thrills me and I love how it brightens up ANY outfit. And yes, my nails are real. (:

Bits and Pieces

Leave it to me to go out of my way to shop. We drove close to an hour, running on Asian food and water, basically, just to soak up the atmosphere for the next six hours. Buttt, Oakbrook on a summer day is SO worth it.

Confessions of a Jetsetter

Okay, I'll admit..the term "jetsetter" is a stretch despite my busy schedule, but something about the office and my outfit today made me feel...dare I say...global?? This butterfly would not go away! I was wasting my life away on the deck yesterday, when this cute little creature landed right between my feet. I moved around it for perhaps an hour and it was persistent on staying right on the rug where it landed. I might not think as much of it if it didn't match my outfit...I believe that could mean something. :)
