Obama supporters hope for the best as the President starts his second term.

On Tuesday, November 6th, groups of students at Michigan State University gathered around tvs and computers anxiously watching as the polling results slowly started to roll in.

Shortly after 11 p.m. EST time, the results were in and it was apparent that Barack Obama had won the title of President yet again.

Now, roughly two weeks after the election, students are hoping that the best is truly yet to come.

Crucial topics such as the economy and gay marriage are still on everyone’s minds post-election.

“I’m hoping that gay marriage will be made officially legal and that it’s not a loose promise,” said MSU sophomore, Jonathan Evans.

DePaul University student Tiran Adams said, “He needs more time to finish what he started. Now, that he’s re-elected, I expect his to do so.”
