The Best of the Year

Well, tomorrow is my birthday. Which means tomorrow marks the anniversary of my one-year relationship with my Nikon. She's been good to me. Thus, I figured I'd share the lovely shots that I never posted. Enjoy!

La ville, die Stadt, la città, город, the city.

I took these pictures over a week ago while my mother and I gallivanted across the city of Chicago. It was a great day of art viewing, delicious food, and shopping. I love urban life.

I captured whatever interested me. There's plenty more, but I didn't want to flood my blog with one post. The quality of the pictures that were sized to fit might be noticeably different in some areas, but it's only a Nikon L110 so bear with me(:

The Our Father

So, it's Father's Day. It's also Sunday which means I'm a groggy mess in the morning, and I have to create a presentable look for church like I have some sense within one hour. I woke up with absolutely no plan; my mom actually suggested this outfit (not to bad). It's funny how I look better when I don't try than when I do.

I absolutely love this necklace. It's actually supposed to be two small necklaces, but I made them into one large one: my favorite DIY to date. Also, this nail polish is a current fav, current as in "until it wears off." It's so different, it thrills me and I love how it brightens up ANY outfit. And yes, my nails are real. (:
